COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Update – Getting ready for Level 2

As we move to reopen the salon at level 2 we understand that there are still Health and Safety measures which will be needed to follow meticulously to ensure the safety of our clients and staff and to help minimise any risk of infection. 

These are the workplace guidelines Amica Boutique will have in place in Level 2 

- We ask any customer or staff member that has flu like symptoms, is feeling unwell or has been in contact with anyone with Covid-19 is not to enter the salon and is to stay home and seek medical advice.

- All customers will be logged in our appointment booking systems which allows us to track who was in the salon on what day and time and monitor all the clients coming in and out of the salon. 

- Our staff will be alternating days to ensure that there will only be a small amount of people in the salon at one time and where possible seat them 1.5m apart from each other. 

- All capes and towels will be single use only and will be washed immediately after use. 

- All surfaces and tools will be disinfected regularly with anti-bacterial spray and disinfectant.

- Hand sanitiser and antibacterial soap will be provided and we will advise staff and customers to use these regularly. 

- Customers will be advised to use contactless payment where possible.

- All magazines will be removed from the salon at level 2.

- Drinks will not be served in the salon at level 2.

We believe it is essential to have these hygiene practices in place for the safety of everyone entering the salon.
